THE PERMANENT SECRETARY MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TARABA STATE ATTENDS THE JCCE CONFERENCE IN YOBE STATE

The hardworking Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education Taraba State, Alh Idris A. Goje attended the meeting of the Joint Consultative Committee on Education (JCCE) in Damaturu, Yobe State.
The 83rd plenary meeting with a theme ‘Innovation, Digital Technology and Entrepreneurship; Tools for Educational and National Development in the 21st Century’, curated by the Federal Ministry of Education, garnered education stakeholders across the country at the Arts and Culture Event Center in Damaturu, Yobe state for their usual review meetings from 22nd to 25th July, 2024.
Received by the Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency Maimala Buni CON, the Governor welcomed all the dignitaries at the meeting and appreciated the Federal Ministry of Education for finding Yobe State worthy to host this year’s meeting.

His statement reads “Let me appreciate the Federal Ministry of Education for choosing Yobe State to host this year’s meeting of the Joint Consultative Committee on Education (JCCE) in Damaturu. ?I wish all participants fruitful deliberations, memorable stay in Yobe State and safe return to their respective destinations and abodes at the end of the meeting”.
The Governor appreciated the honour and privilege to declare the Joint Consultative Meeting of Committee on Education opened and prayed that the deliberation would usher in a new era in our educational advancement as a nation where entrepreneurship, skill development and safe reliance will be the watchword for education administrators, teachers and students.

Additionally, the memo on the need for implementation of policy for training teachers on pre-retirement entrepreneurship skills for self-reliance and national development in the 21st century submitted by Taraba state at the plenary held in Cross River State last month has been recommended for approval.
The Ministry of Education Taraba state and TSUBEB were fully represented at the meeting.
The Permanent Secretary, Alh. Idris lauded the support of His Excellency Dr Agbu Kefas and the Honorable Commissioner, Dr Augustina Godwin for their unwavering supports.
