KEFAS’ MODEL SCHOOLS: DR AUGUSTINA ASSESSES SCHOOLS IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE INTERVENTION

Dr Augustina, the Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education Taraba State assessed schools that are in dire need of quick intervention for the first phase of the schools building projects.
The Commissioner alongside the Executive Secretary, Taraba State Post Primary Schools Management Board, Mrs Elsie Obadiah Yaruta, the Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Benjamin Zanhmaba and the secretary of TSPPSMB inspected some selected schools in Jalingo to commence the Kefas’s Schools Building Projects across the state.

Recall that His Excellency Dr Agbu Kefas officially flagged off the construction of 60 new schools across the 16 local government areas of Taraba State which demonstrates his genuine passion for education and the future of Taraba children.
In her interractions, the Commissioner stressed that the construction of these schools will not only provide a conducive learning environment for students, pupils and teachers but will also create employment opportunities for teachers and other education sector stakeholders.

The schools visited were: Magami Government Day Secondary School Jalingo, GDSS Kpanti Ganah, GDSS Ambaliya, GDSS Lassandi and GDSS Jauro Gbadi.
The hosts principals could not hide their joy as they welcome the laudable projects of the people’s Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas.
