THE PERMANENT SECRETARY MINISTRY OF EDUCATION ATTENDS THE BASIC EDUCATION IN NIGERIA BOOTCAMP (BEN-B) IN LAGOS

The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Taraba State, Alh Idris A. Goje attended the Basic Education in Nigeria Bootcamp (BEN-B) held at the Intercontinental Hotel Victoria Island Lagos.

The two-day summit themed ‘Improving Access to Inclusive Quality Education for all Chidren in Nigeria, Addressing the
Challenges of Out-of-School Children’ which started on the 25th November, 2024 was graced with the esteemed presence of Governor of Lagos, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Honorable ministers and development partners, all the 36 and FCT Honourable Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, SUBEC Chairmen and Critical Stakeholders.

In his keynote address, the Governor of Lagos, His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu appreciated the Honorable minister and development partners for organising such a fantabulous submit to address thematic issues in the education sector. He charged all the participants to leverage the knowledge acquired during the meeting and put it into practice in their respective states.

The four (4) thematic aress that were considered in the Federal Ministry of Education’s DOTS Policy in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government are: Data Repository, Out-of-School Children Education, Teacher Training and Development, Skills Development and Acquisition.

The summit is expected to close on the 27th November, 2024.
