DR AUGUSTINA GODWIN, EMBARKS ON A WORKING VISIT TO ARDOKOLA LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Hon. Dr. Augustina Godwin, the Commissioner of Education in Taraba State, today embarked on a working visit to Ardokola Local Government Area in the state to assess the state of schools in the LGA.

As part of her routine inspection of educational facilities, Dr. Godwin visited several schools in the area, including Government Day Secondary School Mallum, Garin Mallum Primary School, Government Day Secondary School Wuro-Cheudo, and Wuro-Cheudo Primary School.

During her visits, she engaged in discussions with the Principals and Headteachers of these schools, including Mrs. Tani Kitaka from GDSS Mallum, Mr. Ogbonna Gabriel Nwachukwu from GDSS Wuro-Cheudo, Mr. Pani Fidelis Monshe from Garin Mallum Primary School, and Malam Nataala Danjuma from Wuro-Cheudo Primary School. Dr. Godwin emphasized the importance of the free education policy implemented by His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas and distributed essential school materials such as exercise books, pencils, and pens to the students.

One school that particularly stood out during her visit was GDSS Wuro-Cheudo, where Dr. Augustina was pleased to learn about the significant increase in student enrollment following the introduction of free education. She reassured the school of the ministry’s support and took note of the specific challenges faced by each school, pledging to work towards finding sustainable solutions.

Overall, Dr. Augustina’s visit to Ardokola LGA was a success, showcasing her commitment to governor desire of improving the quality of education in Taraba State and his dedication to ensuring that all children have access to quality learning environments.
