THE PERMANENT SECRETARY MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TARABA STATE MONITORS THE ONGOING BECE MARKINGS IN THE STATE

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Taraba State, Alh. Idris A. Goje visited the marking centers for the just concluded Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) 2024.

The Permanent Secretary was accompanied by the Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Abel Bako Joachim on behalf of the Honorable Commissioner of Education Dr Augustina Godwin in going round the BECE marking centers to monitor the conduct of the markings and to ensure adherence to the standards and regulatory guidelines for markings and grading.

Goje praised the conduct of the markings by the examiners and proper organization and management of the centers as spotted. He expressed optimism of the outcome of the exercise and hoped for good results for the candidates that sat for the just concluded BECE 2024.

He used the opportunity to convey the goodwill message of the Honorable Commissioner and reiterated His Excellency’s commitment to changing the educational landscape of Taraba state which is very evident to the notice of all.

Some of the centers visited were Government Day Secondary School Salihu Dogo, Magami Government Day Secondary School and Government Day Secondary School Sabon Gari.

While at GDSS Sabon Gari, the Permanent Secretary used the opportunity to inspect the ongoing fencing project of the school as approved by His Excellency.
